M.P. mediaplatform comprises a Madhya Pradesh based website :www(indiamediaplatform.com )and a newsblog (www. indiamediaplatform.blogspot.com) . Besides, it is an entity engaged in production of documentary / short films and infoedutainment TV software.
In its continuing first phase ( till 2010), the website will be converted into a portal ; a bilingual multimedia (print / video /audio) views & features agency would be created, an e-journal would be brought out ( later a print version too) and an internet TV/ Online TV based on Madhya Pradesh would be launched.

It is an extrapolation of an earlier mother company – Kaushalya Multimedia – which produced TV series & variety entertainment programmes ; documentaries & shorts; corporate films & Ad – films since 1996- for Doordarshan & Incable & others.

An award winning Journalist and Short filmmaker, Shashidhar Kapur was the head of a regional infotainment TV channel – ETV(MP), till 2004-part of India’s largest network of regional channels ;prior to which he was the Features Editor of a leading English daily- Hindustan Times -at Bhopal. Over 500 of his articles have appeared in all the leading publications of India –in English and Hindi. Besides, Shashidhar has produced shortfilms across genres(fiction/non-fiction) and TV software (TV Series/ news based programmes)- for Doordarshan ( India’s National broadcaster ), ETV and others . Till date ,he has produced 2 fiction and 7 non – fiction shortfilms .

Furthermore, he has written a book of short stories and has finished the first draft of his debut novel.After graduating in Mathematics from St. Stephen’s college Delhi, Shashidhar went on to do a Master’s in Philosophy ,and a PG Diploma in Journalism & Mass Communication . Later he did the the Film Appreciation Course from FTTI, Pune.Widely traveled across India and the globe, Shashidhar has initiated the process of launching a media platform in central India.
